To install Sketchlife on Mac:
- (Make sure that SketchUp is installed and it runs.)
- Download the file sketchlife.zip by clicking
on the large "Download" link on the left.
- A window will appear, with either
the file sketchlife.zip, or a folder sketchlife
listed. Ctrl+click on this item and select
Show in Finder.
- If the file you see is called sketchlife.zip,
it hasn't been expanded automatically yet, so
Ctrl+click on it, and select
Open With|StuffIt Expander, then press
Expand in the StuffIt window that appears.
At the end of this step you should have a folder called
sketchlife.
- Select the two items in this folder,
Ctrl+click on them, and select
Copy.
- Click on Macintosh HD in the left-hand
menu of Finder.
- Follow the path Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 7/SketchUp/plugins/
- Ctrl+click in the folder
plugins and select Paste Item.
- If there is an error message saying that
you don't have permission to access this location,
you will need to
contact your computer administrator to continue.
- Close SketchUp if it is open.
- Start SketchUp. If you see a new toolbar with
Sketchlife icons, you have installed Sketchlife successfully.
